The university council approves that there is a cooperation protocol between Benha University and Rennes University. Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Fouda, the dean of the faculty of law at Benha University signs the protocol with Prof. Dr. Julian budu, the dean of the faculty of law at the University of Rennes during his visit to France. The protocol sets forth that curriculums should be classified into two parts: the parts that will be taught using the French language and the parts that will be taught using Arabic language. Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Fouda, the dean of the faculty of law indicates that this protocol will be put into action in Mars, 2017 when the president of the University of Rennes meets the president of the University of Benha to initiate the academic year 2017/2018.

Dr. Muhammad EL- Madawy has to travel to France to complete the curriculums of French major at the faculty of law. The university president stresses that there should be new programs in the faculties to reinforce its sources.
