Under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President of the University for postgraduate Studies and Research, the Faculty of Science organized a scientific seminar titled "Artificial Intelligence and Its Role in Criminal Investigation" for students in the “Biological and Chemical Sciences in Forensic Evidence” program at the Benha University campus in Al-Obour City.
"Prof. El-Gizawy" is keen on opening new horizons for scientific and research cooperation with Chinese universities.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, participated in the activities of the Global Conference on Digital Education for the year 2025, titled "Developing Education and Transitioning to the Era of Intelligence," held in Hubei Province, Wuhan, Central China.
Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University, received the external review teams for program accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE) to review and evaluate seven programs at the Faculties of Agriculture and Engineering at Benha University.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that a delegation of university students visited the Egyptian Parliament. The student delegation was accompanied by MP Amira El-Adly, Prof. Khaled Eissawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the university, and Prof. Tahani Rushdy, Coordinator of Student Activities at the Faculty of Agriculture, who supervised the parliamentary simulation training.
Under the auspices of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, the university announces the organization of the "Smart Healthcare" Hackathon under the slogan “Innovating the Future of Healthcare” in February 2026, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This initiative stems from the belief in the role of higher education and scientific research in supporting digital transformation, as well as the ongoing pursuit of achieving the goals of Egypt's Vision 2030 towards a digital economy based on knowledge. It aims to encourage innovation, research, and development by empowering and motivating young programmers and idea creators to present their smart ideas and programming projects.
Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University, Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek, President of Cairo University, Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zein El Abidine, President of Ain Shams University, and Dr. El Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University, witnessed the opening of the first festival of the Greater Cairo Region Universities Alliance for Folk Arts, which was organized by Benha University with the participation of the universities of the Greater Cairo Region Alliance, namely Benha, Cairo, Ain Shams, and Helwan.
On International Nurse Day, Benha University President expressed his deep gratitude to every nurse at Benha University Hospitals, nursing students', the Faculty of Nursing staff and the staff of Technical Institute of Nursing at the University, who are dedicated to serving others. El Gizawy also added that Nursing is not just a profession, but a noble humanitarian message that embodies limitless giving and compassion in its most beautiful forms.
