Prof.Dr. Nasser Al-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that the University has officially received a delegation from Canterbury Christ Church University, United Kingdom. This visit falls within the university's keenness to support its internationalization efforts and enhance academic cooperation with prestigious international universities, exploring mechanisms for implementing joint academic programs under the Transnational Education (TNE) system.The British delegation included Mr. Stephen Lammiman, Director of International Cooperation and Academic Agreements; Dr. Lorna Thomas, Joint Academic Agreements Officer; and Ms. Michelle Shields, Transnational Education Programs Officer.
Under the patronage of Prof.Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof.Dr. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Community Service Sector organized a workshop titled "The Outstanding Role of Subject Teachers" at Kafr Shukr Official Language School.
The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Benha University organized an awareness caravan on handicrafts at the Sanhara Youth Center in Toukh. This initiative aligns with the university's keenness to encourage the localization of handicrafts as a form of entrepreneurship aimed at economically empowering women.
Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs inspected Benha University hostels at Tukh and Shoubra to be sure from standard of submitted services for students, so he checked out the hostel's restaurants and food stores. During their tour, they were accompanied by Dr. Sayed Abd El Wanis, the deputy of Benha University hostel and other employees.
Prof. Dr. El-Sayed EL-kady and prof.Dr. Fins Amiry sing cooperation agreement between the two universities to support scientific research, reinforce the research abilities and exchange staff members. The cooperation agreement was signed in the presence of Prof.Dr. Gamal Ismail, the vice president of community services and environment development, prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research, Prof.Dr. Ali Mobashri, associate dean of scientific research and many faculties' deans.
Prof. Dr. Sayed El Kady, the President of Benha University has inspected maintenance works at the University Hostel at Tukh as a preparation for the new academic year 20162017 in presence of Dr. Gamal Sousa, the General Supervisor on the University Hostels, Dr. Khaled Esawy, the General coordinator of students' activities and Mr. Waheed Khalawy, the General Secretary of the University.
