The Faculty and Leadership Development Center "FLDC" at Benha University has held a workshop for faculty members about the scientific research outputs marketing withing the training programs provided by the Center during current August. Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that the workshop discussed the scientific research outputs marketing and the role of technology valleys, technological incubators and the startup companies in achieving the knowledge economy by converting creative ideas into wealth in the light of the incentives law for science, technology and innovation.
The Sector of Post Graduate Studies and Researches, Benha University announces for the invitation from the Academy of Scientific Researches and Technology "ASRT" and the Federation of Arab Scientific Research Council "FASRC" to all postgraduates for participating in the 1st Arab virtual conference under the title of " emerging technologies and their applications in serving the sustainable development at the Arab World" which will be held from June21 to 23, 2020
Dr Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President launched initiative for supporting Scientific Researches to Face Corona . El Saeed assured that is among the followed steps by Benha University to limit spread of Corona Virus and to allocate a budget from Scientific Research Fund to support innovative projects which tackle and limit spread of the Corona Virus. On the other hand, Prof.DrNasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-President for Post graduate Studies and Scientific Research mentioned that the initiative aims to develop diagnose through developing new methods for laboratory tests to detect infected persons , develop rapid devices and the use of artificial intelligence applications to monitor and track infected and contact persons as well as treatment techniques through the designing or developing new ventilators in an innovative way and low price. The Higher education announces the long term Egyptian –German dispatch program- GERLS for 2018. Prof.Dr. Khalid Abed EL-Gafer, the minister of higher education and scientific research stresses on the importance of reinforcing the scientific cooperation between Egypt and Germany in the different aspects. He indicates that there should be a fruitful cooperation with the DAAD organization to develop the scientific level of the Egyptian researchers.
The university council approves on the suggestion of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-kady, the university president to set up a unit to study the pyramids in Benha University and there should be a vision for this unit to be approved by the university's council. EL-Kady says that the aim of this unit is to study the creativity of the pharaohs in building the pyramids and figuring out the mysteries that astonish the whole world. The faculty of medicine, the faculty of veterinary medicine, the faculty of engineering, the faculty of arts, the faculty of physical education and the faculty of science participate in this unit. The unit should deliver a report with the results of what it is done to the ministry of culture, the ministry of scientific research and the ministry of antiquities.
Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president inaugurates the exhibition of China and the Arab countries in Yinchuan. EL-Kady is keen on participating in this event which host Egypt as a guest of honor for first time. Benha University leader's council discusses, in its weekly meeting which is held under the supervision of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed El-kady, the university president, the vision of how to develop the higher education and the scientific research. Prof.Dr. Eman El-Bitar, the head of hygiene department in the faculty of medicine and the member of the assigned team to present such a vision. The students of Benha University manage to win three medals in the week of the student's families of the Egyptian universities that is held in the Sue canal university from 6-2-2017 to 10-2-2017. The student/ Ahmed Abd el-Azim from the faculty of applied arts obtains the gold medal in the religious recital contest, the student /Zeniab from the faculty of medicine obtains the silver medal in the Holy Quran contest, the football team obtains the second place by winning the silver medal and the university obtains the fourth place in the information league and the solo singing. Benha university president invites the head of education board in people's assembly prof.Dr. Gamal Shiha to attend the university forums about the Development of higher education and Scientific Research. This forum is held under the auspices of prof.Dr. Ashraf EL-Shihy, the minster of higher education and scientific research. The forum will be held in 25-2-2017.
Prof.Dr. Hesham Abu El-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research states that it has been approved, in the university council in 29-11-2016 headed by prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president, to fund the research projects of the young researchers in Benha University. He adds that the fund will be increased to the amount of 200,000 L.E for the single research and there will at least 10 competitively- selected research projects that will be funded. Prof.Dr. Maher Hasb-EL- Nabi, the university president's chancellor of scientific research says that funding the research projects aims at developing the research capabilities in scientific research. For those interested in applying to research projects funding, they have to sign up in the scientific research application that will be created by the IT Portal team in January, 2017 for 30 days.
The scientific research fund board, headed by prof.Dr. Hesham Abu el-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research, approves in its last meeting to provide fund for (56) research groups and the young researchers by an amount of 5.6 million L.E. prof.Dr. Hesham Abu el-Enin stresses that the board customizes 100,000 L.E. for the young researchers. The statement concurs with the vice president of post-graduate studies and research's meeting with the young researcher in Benha University. He also asserts that the funded research projects should have a positive impact on the university. In the frame of cooperation between the Academy of scientific research and technology and Benha University and the state's endeavor to develop the scientific research in Egypt in addition to enhancing the policies of science and technology, the Academy of scientific research and technology forms the committee of the Egyptian science, technology and innovation observatory officials. Prof.Dr. Ahmed Atia and prof.Dr. Islam El- Sharawy were chosen to represent Benha University.
Prof. Dr.El Sayed El Kady, the President of Benha University has approved to establish a unit to market scientific research and link it with our community. He pointed that; this Unit will include branches at all faculties. He also mentioned that, the new Unit will reduce the burden on the general budget in addition to supporting the national industry projects and developing it.
Prof. Dr. El Sayed Yusuf El Kady, the President of Benha University received Prof. Dr. Ashraf Al-Shehhi - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research who visited Benha University in 2692016 to launch "We Love Egypt Initiative" from faculty of Arts then, they held open meeting with students to discuss several topics with them, in addition to visiting faculty of Nursing and Education to inspect the educational process.
Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University has issued a resolution to form a committee from the University professors in various disciplines and faculties to assume the tasks of the international relations which activated upon the memorandums of understanding and cooperation signed with the top international universities in China, Japan, France, England, and others for openness to the world and encouraging the international cooperation in the fields of scientific research and the education activities.
