Prof. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President said that the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research issued a decree to establish the 1st biotechnology incubator at the University Obour Campus to support and provide business services, technical and scientific consultations for the scientific research projects and the emerging companies in the field of biotechnology.

El Saeed confirmed that the company will be subjected to the new investment law. E-Learning center organizes a workshop in the faculty of applied arts and the faculty of computer and informatics on Monday, 30-10-2017 about the cloud model system. On Sunday, 12-2-2017, the first international forum activities about technology applications in education has been begun in the faculty of education. The forum is held under the auspices of general/ Amr abd EL-Moniem, the Qulubia governor, Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president, prof.Dr. Gamal Ismail, the vice president of community service and environment development. Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Fouda, the dean of the faculty of education says that the forum discusses that the new studies of the faculties' members from different universities in the major of education technology and remote learning.

The faculty of education holds the first forum entitled “Technology applications in education” in 12-2-2017 and 13-2-2017. Prof.Dr. Ibrahim Fouda, the dean of the faculty of education says that this forum is held under the auspices of general/ Amr Abd El-Moniem, the governorate of EL-Qulubia, prof.Dr. Youssef El-Kady, the university president and prof.Dr. Gamal Ismail, the vice president of community service and environment development. The forum is about discussing the recent researches and studies offered by the faculties' members from different Egyptian and Arab universities in education technology in addition to the experts in E-Learning and remote learning who express their opinions regarding the subject matter of the forum.

The university council, headed by prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, approves that there will a building of the laboratories in the faculty of education including; the psychology lab, education technology lab, micro teaching and computer lab.

The center of Information technology and the researching services in cooperation with the international labor organization organizes a forum about job opportunities under the auspices of prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president and prof.Dr. Gamal Ismail, the vice president of community service and environment development. Prof.Dr. Muhammad EL-Sayed, the head of the center of Information technology and the researching services that this is a one-day forum to help the students find jobs and bridge the gap between the youth capabilities and the marketplace demands. This forum is attended by prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president, prof.Dr. Gamal Ismail, the vice president of community service and environment development, the faculties 'deputies, deans and professors.

Prof.Dr. Ahmed Atia and prof.Dr. Islam El- Sharawy were chosen to represent Benha University.

In the frame of cooperation between the Academy of scientific research and technology and Benha University and the state's endeavor to develop the scientific research in Egypt in addition to enhancing the policies of science and technology, the Academy of scientific research and technology forms the committee of the Egyptian science, technology and innovation observatory officials. On Tuesday, 22-11-2016, the final ceremony was held to honor the winners in “Tamkin 3” contest under the auspices of the ministry of communications and information technology. Eng/ Yasser EL-Kady, the minister of communications and information technology honors Dr. Islam EL-Sharawy by giving him the second prize for his invention of the «Acoustic shield».

Under the auspices of Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, the post-graduate studies board was held to discuss the updating of the research plan to cope up with the national projects in the light of the national strategy of sciences and technology. The meeting was head by prof.Dr. Hesham Abu-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research and it was held in the presence of prof.Dr. Maher Khalil, the university president of scientific research, the faculties' deputies of post-graduate studies and the managers of post-graduate studies bureaus.

Benha University organized a workshop about the research plan in the university in the light of the national strategy of innovation and technology 2015-2030. This workshop was held under the auspices of prof.Dr. Hesham Abu-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research. The workshop was held in the presence of prof.Dr. Maher Hasb-EL-Naby, the university president chancellor of scientific research and the faculties' deputies of post-graduate studies.

The faculty council of the faculty of engineering at Shubra presents the strategic plan in the presence of prof.Dr. Fins Emiry, the former vice president of Surrey University, Prof.Dr. Ahmed Maged, the acting dean of the faculty, prof.Dr. Ghazi Assasa, the university president's chancellor of information technology, prof.Dr. Shaban Taha, the former university president and the staff members. This statement concurs with signing the cooperation agreement between Benha University and Surrey University.

The E-portal presented a draft law of sciences, technology and creativity which was made by the ministry of higher education. This draft law aims at the develop the scientific research which is based on creativity and innovation in the universities and research centers of the ministry of higher education.
