Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University President announced the final list of candidates for Faculty of Veterinary Medicine deanship after closing appeal on Sunday, 18-2-2024. The final list of candidates is as following; Prof.Dr.Hossam Fouad Attya , Prof.Dr.Amany Abd El Rahman Abbas , Prof.Dr.Ahmed Abd El Rahman Mohamed Kassab , Prof.Dr. Ayman Samir Farid Abd El Aleem and Prof.Dr. Ehab Mustafa El Nahas Nassar.
Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha Univesrity President continued his inspections tours to follow up the first semester exams at faculties of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine. Benha University President was accompanied by Prof.Dr. Amany Abbas, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine dean and Prof.Dr. Mahmoud El Zabalawy, the Faculty of Agriculture dean.

Prof. Gamal Soussa, the Supervisor on Community Service Sector inspected during his tour today the second semester exams at faculty of Veterinary Medicine. During his tour, Prof. Gamal Soussa was accompanied by Dr. Amany Abbas, the Faculty dean, Dr. Hossam Fouad Atya, the Faulty deputy for Education and Student Affairs and Dr.Mohamed Mahfouz, the Faculty deputy for Community Service and Environment Affairs.
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, issued ministerial decrees to appoint Dr. Amany Abd El Rahman as Faculty of Veterinary Medicine dean for three years. On the other hand, Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University congratulated Dr. Amany Abd El Rahman for that new position and hoped for her great success. He also thanked Dr. Mohamed Ghanim, the former dean for his great efforts during his deanship and hoped for him best wishes.
Prof.Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President has issued a decree to appoint Prof.Dr.Moahmed Mohmady Ghanim, the professor at Animal Medicine department as acting dean of Veterinary Medicine Faculty. El Saeed congratulated Dr. Mohamed Mohmady Gahnim for that new position and hoped for him best wishes and great success.

Benha University's council, in its meeting yesterday under the presidency of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the University president approved on the bylaw which is proposed by prof.Dr. Muhammad Ghanem to make a new curriculum of the pets' medicine which can lead to a bachelor of the surgery and the medicine of the pets.
Benha University comprehensive convoy has finished its activities under the auspices of Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the University president and prof.Dr. Gamal Ismail, the vice president of the community service and environment development in Kafr-Batta. The council decides that the exams should begin in 2-12-2017 and end in 19-12-2017.

Prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and researches states that prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, approves on a two-week extension period for funding the research projects starting from Sunday, 19-2-2017. Such decision is taken upon a meeting with the young researchers during a workshop in the faculty of veterinary medicine. Prof.Dr. Maher Hasb El-Naby, the university president chancellor of scientific research says that there are 45 researchers, from nine faculties in the university, who apply for such event. He also adds that this two-week extension period aims at letting the researchers being funded. It is important to say that the fund is about 200,000 L.E. for the single research project and there should be no less than 10 competitively-chosen research projects that have to be funded.

Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president and the accompanying delegation sign a cooperation protocol with Wuhan University in presence of prof.Dr. Muhammad Abu Salim, the dean of the faculty of veterinary medicine, prof.Dr. Mahmoud Magraby, the dean of the faculty of agriculture, prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the acting dean of the faculty of applied arts and prof.Dr. Osama Ezat, the former deputy of the faculty of faculty of engineering at Shubra. The university president says that the cooperation protocol allows Benha University to get three or five MA and PhD scholarships specialized in remote sensing, IT, students and faculty's members exchange and he stresses that the fields of researches are determined according to what has been agreed upon between both universities and the cooperation protocol is also about enhancing the cooperation between the both universities in engineering, scientific research, scholarships, students training and the other research projects.
Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president meets the Egyptian scholars in China to discuss many issues in the presence of prof.Dr. Muhammad Abu Salim, the dean of veterinary medicine faculty, prof.Dr. Mahmoud Magraby, the dean of the faculty of agriculture, and prof.Dr. Hazem Eliwa, the member of the international relationships office of Benha University in China. Prof.Dr. Fins Amiry, the former vice president of Surrey University visits the faculty of agriculture in Moshtohor in the presence of prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of post –graduate studies and research, prof.Dr. Mahmoud Eraqi, the faculty dean, prof. Dr. Muhammad Abu Salem, the dean of veterinary medicine faculty, the faculty deputies and the staff members. This visit concurs with signing the cooperation agreement between Benha University and Surrey University.

A delegation of Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) visits Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Benha University under the auspices of Prof Dr. Ali Shams Elddin, President of Benha University, today Monday 20 June 2016.
The visit schedule includes visits to Faculties of Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine and Human Medicine to discuss ways of technical cooperation in various fields.
