The university council has held its meeting under the presidency of prof.Dr. Gamal EL-Saeid, the university president and in the presence of general/ Abd EL-Hamid EL-Hagan, prof.Dr. Hussien Magraby, the vice president of educational and students affairs, the faculties' deans and the council's members to discuss several university-related issues
Benha University Council approved in its last session that was held under presidency of Dr Gamal El Saeed , Benha University President and Prof.Dr Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students ' affairs and deans of faculties to from the University Awards Committee. The committee includes Dr Adel Adawy, Dr Maher Hassab El Naby Khalil, Dr Ahmed Soliman Hazin, Dr Alaa El Sayed Amin, and Dr Ashraf Tawfik Shams El Din. On the other hand, Dr Nasser El Gezawy said that the committee is going to apply applicants for awards from October till the end of December every year.
Benha University council in its session that was held under presidency of Dr Gamal El Saeed ,Benha University President and Prof.Dr Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs have approved to join Eng. Ebrahim El Araby , The Chairman of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce for two years because of his great experience at puplic work. El Saeed assured that Benha University seeks to coopertate with successful public figures to achieve integration between the University and needs of our local community.

The University president congratulated all attendants on the occasion of Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr .He also congratulated Dr.Eman Abd El Haq for appointing her as the dean for Faculty of Nursing. He also congratulated Dr. Abeer Al Rabbat, Faculty of Arts dean for getting accreditation by National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Education. He also congratulated Dr.Hala Zayed, the dean of faculty of Computers and Informatics for issuing a decree by the Supreme Council of Universities to change the Faculty name to become faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence and establishing a new department at the Faculty for artificial intelligence.
Benha university council decides, in its last session under the presidency of prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, prof.Dr. Gamal Ismail, the vice president of the community service and environment development, prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies, the faculties' deans and several chancellors to let the national service projects organization build the new projects.
The university council under the presidency of prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, thanks the university hospitals administration for the efforts exerted by the professors, the university's employees for taking care of the patients in the various departments in the hospitals. The university council approves on the suggestion of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-kady, the university president to set up a unit to study the pyramids in Benha University and there should be a vision for this unit to be approved by the university's council. EL-Kady says that the aim of this unit is to study the creativity of the pharaohs in building the pyramids and figuring out the mysteries that astonish the whole world. The faculty of medicine, the faculty of veterinary medicine, the faculty of engineering, the faculty of arts, the faculty of physical education and the faculty of science participate in this unit. The unit should deliver a report with the results of what it is done to the ministry of culture, the ministry of scientific research and the ministry of antiquities.
Benha university council, under the presidency of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, discusses the report of prof.Dr. Yosry EL-Saied, the general manager of the university's hospital that shows the hospitals' performance in last June. There are 34732 patients who frequently visit the university's hospital in last June.

Benha university council holds its meeting in Sharm EL-Sheikh approves on the bulletin of the faculty of education to launch six curriculums to prepare teachers of English, physics, chemistry, science and math in addition to preparing the teachers of primary education in science and math. The bylaws of these programs should be ready to be delivered to the sector committees of supreme council of the universities to be endorsed. Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed El-Kady, the university president says that these programs meet the demands of the labor market on one hand and develop the quality of education in the university's faculties on the other.

This contest lasted for three days with nine Arab and foreign countries represented by 12 teams. They are the following: the sister of prof.Dr. Ibrahim Fouda, the dean of the faculty of education, the sister of prof.Dr. Abu El-Soud Muhammad, the former dean of the faculty of education, the sister of prof.Dr. Saleh El-Din Eraqi, the professor of the faculty of education, prof.Dr. Muhammad Atia, the professor Emeritus of mechanical engineering in the faculty of engineering/ Benha, prof.Dr. Farid Nagib Gerges, the professor of the faculty of commerce, the wife of prof.Dr. Muhammad Shafi Abu Ras, the professor of the faculty of law, the father of prof.Dr. Ahmedi Ismail, the professor of the faculty of medicine, the mother of prof.Dr. Sabry Anis Abdou, the professor of the faculty of medicine, the hushand of prof.Dr. Ola Gaber Hagag, the professor of the faculty of medicine, the father of prof.Dr. Abu Seri Ahmed Hasb, the lecturer of the faculty of agriculture and Mrs. Hafsa Hafez Zaki, the employee of the faculty of science.

The nominations are as follows: prof.Dr. Gamal Ahmed Hosni, the professor of the faculty of medicine, prof.Dr. Saleh Muhammad Abd- EL-Halim, the professor of the faculty of science, prof.Dr. Hasan Naser Ismail, the professor Emeritus of the faculty of engineering/ Benha, prof.Dr. Sohair El-Sayed Negm, the professor emeritus of the faculty of engineering / Shubra. As for the excellence awards, the nominations include; prof. Dr. Alaa El-Sayed Amin, the professor of the faculty of science, prof.Dr. Sameh Muhammad Nada, the professor of the faculty of engineering/ Benha and the faculty's dean, prof.Dr. Hanem Fathy Khater, the professor of the veterinary medicine.
The university council honors the winners of the international programming contest that was held in the capital, Heliniski and lasted for three days in the last November. There were 1000 students from 428 European and American universities who participated in this contest. Benha university team obtained the second place in the contest. The honored students are the following; Bassem Ehab, Muhammad Sakr, Muhammad Abd-el-Nabi, Hesham Osman and Muhammad Ehab from the faculty of engineering/ Shubra in addition to Nourhan Radwan and Mirna Soliman from the faculty of applied arts.
The university council, headed by prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-kady, approved that a new building for the faculty of science will be established beside the old one.
The architectural and geometrical designs will be started as soon as possible. This statement was uttered by prof.Dr. Abd-El-Azim Mehna, the faculty dean and he adds that the university president asked his technical and geometrical chancellor to choose the team that will take over the project.
