Benha University organized a celebration for International Anti-Corruption Day under the title "United Against Corruption." The event was held in cooperation with the Administrative Control Authority in Qalyubia and Qalyubia Governorate. Attendees included Prof.Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University; Engineer Ayman Atiya, Governor of Qalyubia; Major General Reda Ismail, Head of the Administrative Control Authority office in Qalyubia; Prof.Dr. Gehan Abdel Hady, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Colonel Mohamed Awad from the Administrative Control Authority office in Qalyubia; along with executive, academic, and administrative leaders of the University.

The session is organized by the Leadership Preparation Center and will continue until Tuesday, October 21.

Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Kalyobiya; Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University; and Major General Prof. Samir Farag, former Director of the Moral Affairs Department and military strategist, attended an educational seminar titled "Day of Pride and Dignity" organized by Benha University to commemorate the 52nd anniversary of the October 6, 1973 War victories.

The committee of the educational studies sector of the supreme council of the universities has approved, in its meeting which was held on Saturday, to establish a branch of the faculty of education in Shibin El-kantar. The supreme council of the universities has approved on the request of Qulubia governorate representatives to set up the faculty in order to serve the inhabitants of Shibin El-kantar and the surrounding villages.

Prof.Dr. Khalid Abd El-Gafer, the minister of higher education inaugurates, on Thursday at 10 a.m., the activities first forum of developing the education which is held from 22-2-2017 to 25-2-2017. On Sunday, the activities of the agricultural round no.39 is launched at the faculty of agriculture in Benha University under the auspices of the minister of higher education, the minister of youth and sport ,the Qalubia governor and prof.Dr. EL-Sayed El-Kady, the university president. Prof.Dr. Mahmoud Eraqi, the dean of the faculty of agriculture in Moshtohor says that the agricultural round starts from 5-2-2017 to 8-2-2017 and there are 750 students who participate in the event. The students represent 14 agricultural faculties and institutes around the Egyptian universities.

The faculty of education holds the first forum entitled “Technology applications in education” in 12-2-2017 and 13-2-2017. Prof.Dr. Ibrahim Fouda, the dean of the faculty of education says that this forum is held under the auspices of general/ Amr Abd El-Moniem, the governorate of EL-Qulubia, prof.Dr. Youssef El-Kady, the university president and prof.Dr. Gamal Ismail, the vice president of community service and environment development. The forum is about discussing the recent researches and studies offered by the faculties' members from different Egyptian and Arab universities in education technology in addition to the experts in E-Learning and remote learning who express their opinions regarding the subject matter of the forum.

Dr. Yosry El-Saied, the general manager of the university hospital announces that the night specialized clinics are inaugurated in the hospital according to the instructions of prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the University president to improve the healthcare service to the inhabitants of the El-Qulubia. El-Saied says that the new clinics work daily form 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and the majors are surgery, Andrology, cardiology and chest surgery and the other majors will be available soon to provide a quality healthcare services to the sons of the governorate.

The general/ Amr Abd El-Moniem, Qualybia Governor asserts, in Benha university council, that there is a strong relationship between the university and the governorate.

The societal union at EL-Qualybia governorate, which is held at the faculty of medicine, hosts the general / Talat Mousa, the chancellor of Nasr Military Academy. This event was held in the presence of prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, prof.Dr. Gamal Ismail, the vice president of community service and environment development, prof.Dr. Mahmoud Abd EL-Sabour, the dean of the faculty of medicine and the faculty deputies. The meeting was moderated by prof.Dr. Ibrahim Rageh, the faculty's deputy of community service and environment development. The university president asserts that all should be hopeful and optimistic to get to know the pros and cons in our society. He adds that the national projects were established for the sake of providing the youth with jobs and stresses that the youth should know how important these projects are lest they fall in the trap of devastating ideas.

Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-kady, the university president urges all to stand firm and united to build our country and face the rumors and the conspiracies nowadays. The university president says so during a ceremony to honor the top school students at the conference hall in Shubra-El-Khiema. The ceremony was held in the presence of general/ Amr Abd-EL-moniem, the governor of Qualubia and it was under the auspices of Engineer/ Abd-Salam EL-khadrawy, the parliament member of Shubra EL-Kheima. The university president asserts that education is very important as it is a way of progress and prosperity. The university president urges the students to work hard to succeed.

Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the acting president of the university, announced that university sent a medical, veterinary and agricultural convoys to the villages of Qualibia governorate such as el-Gabal el-Asfur village, Mit kenana village and Banamol village. The acting president says that these convoys were sent in association with Qualibia Governorate to provide a medical, veterinary and agricultural and educating services to the inhabitants of these villages. These convoys started on Monday, 29-8-2016 and it continued for three days . These convoys will be sent to el-Khosos village, Mit el-sebaa village and Marsafa village in the next month.

Prof.Dr. Gamal Ismael, Benha University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Affairs participated at the National Day celebrations of Al – Qaliubiya Governorate in presence of Dr.Reda Farahat, Al Qaliubiya governor, deputies of cities, executive leaders at the governorate, parliament members. Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismael declared that Benha University has a strong coordination between the University and executive leaders at the governorate and it will continue its role in serving people at the Governorate by introducing free courses for students, medical care, medical campaign, curing virus C, agricultural campaign and other services.
