Major General/ Abdel Hamid EL-Hagan, Qulubia governor hosts Ambassador/ Hisham Badr, the general coordinator and the head of the organizing committee of Smart Green Projects Initiative, Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president and Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the vice president of post-graduate studies and scientific research in the governorate main building so as to hold a meeting for keeping an eye on the execution of the second phase of Smart Green Projects Initiative. This meeting aims at shedding light on the initiative's importance and encouraging the youth to apply to such great initiative in the field of sustainable and smart development.

Prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies states that it has been approved to reopen the door, under the auspices of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, to fund five research proposals that serve the big projects for one month to give more room to the faculties' members to join.
Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed El-Kady, the university president allots one million pounds to fund 40 researches in order to serve the community and solve the problems that the community suffers from in addition to allotting one million and half to fund 5 research projects which serve the big projects of the state. Prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and researches states that prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, approves on a two-week extension period for funding the research projects starting from Sunday, 19-2-2017. Such decision is taken upon a meeting with the young researchers during a workshop in the faculty of veterinary medicine. Prof.Dr. Maher Hasb El-Naby, the university president chancellor of scientific research says that there are 45 researchers, from nine faculties in the university, who apply for such event. He also adds that this two-week extension period aims at letting the researchers being funded. It is important to say that the fund is about 200,000 L.E. for the single research project and there should be no less than 10 competitively-chosen research projects that have to be funded.
Prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and researches states that the period of presenting the competitive research projects of the young Researchers will be extended to the fifth round in the middle of February 2017. This bulletin aims at helping the researchers and gives them an equal chance to fund their research project.

Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, the Local Development Minister asserts that the national projects which are carried out nowadays are the main pillar for prosperity and development. He also classifies these projects into two kinds: the strategic national projects and cities and villages related national projects.

Dr. Ahmed Darwish, the head of Suez Canal development board asserts that the idea of Suez Canal axis project was initiated in 1976, but the project was put into practice at the era of president El-Sisi a year ago. The project was divided into stages. The first stage is on the banks of the canal from Port Said to Ein-el- Sokhna.

Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Ein-Shams University asserts that the new administrative capital was built to be an entrepreneurship center at east Cairo. This entrepreneurship center includes buildings, organizations, schools, hospitals, scientific centers, exhibitions, conferences halls, malls, Opera and culture center. Under the auspices of Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, the post-graduate studies board was held to discuss the updating of the research plan to cope up with the national projects in the light of the national strategy of sciences and technology. Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs has announced the University will hold a workshop for the young researchers about “How to apply for Projects financed by Newton/Moshraffa Fund” with cooperation of the British Council in Egypt on Wednesday, 04/05/2016 at the Conferences Hall in the faculty of commerce.
