Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, participated in the workshop titled "Investment in Higher Education and Scientific Research," attended by Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Mr. Hossam Heiba, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, along with the secretaries of the Supreme Council of Universities, the Council of Private and National Universities, and various university presidents and ministry leaders.
Nasser El-Gizawy, the president of Benha University, attended the university's celebration of the Day of Scientific Excellence in its tenth edition with Dr. El Sayed Fouda, the university's vice president for community service and environmental development, Dr. Jehan Abdel Hadi, the university's vice president for post-graduate studies and research, a number of deans and vice deans of faculties.
Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs announced that Postgraduate Sector at the University is going to organize the Six Scientific Excellence Day on Sunday, 26122020 at the Great hall , Faculty of Commerce . The Faculty and Leadership Development Center "FLDC" at Benha University has held a workshop for faculty members about the scientific research outputs marketing withing the training programs provided by the Center during current August. Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that the workshop discussed the scientific research outputs marketing and the role of technology valleys, technological incubators and the startup companies in achieving the knowledge economy by converting creative ideas into wealth in the light of the incentives law for science, technology and innovation.
Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs said that the University got 14 Followships and 5 scholarships in addition to one joint supervision mission within the eighth 5 years plan of missions 2017-2022 by the competitive system between the applicants, adding that the delegation countries varied between America, Germany, Canada, Japan and Italy, confirming that scholarships included faculty members and researchers from the faculties of veterinary medicine, science, agriculture, arts, engineering in Benha, and commerce.

Benha University won first place and gold medal in the "Scientific Miracles in the Holy Quran and Sunnah" competition, which was held at South Valley University from March 30 to April 3, and was attended by student delegations from 13 Egyptian universities. Dr. Musabih Al-Kahili, Director General of Youth Welfare, said that the university participated with a delegation of students in the competition. The student, Zainab Mahmoud Shams, in the Faculty of Medicine in Banha received the gold medal and the first center in memorizing the Holy Quran. The student Mohammed Hossein Sadiq, a student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, won the silver medal and second place in the liturgy.

The Higher education announces the long term Egyptian –German dispatch program- GERLS for 2018. Prof.Dr. Khalid Abed EL-Gafer, the minister of higher education and scientific research stresses on the importance of reinforcing the scientific cooperation between Egypt and Germany in the different aspects. Prof.Dr. Hesham Abu El-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research states that it has been approved, in the university council in 29-11-2016 headed by prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president, to fund the research projects of the young researchers in Benha University. He adds that the fund will be increased to the amount of 200,000 L.E for the single research and there will at least 10 competitively- selected research projects that will be funded. The Jordanian Universities express its desire to cooperate with Benha University by letting the university's professors examine and discuss the scientific dissertations in these universities. This statement was uttered by Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president during his presidency of the deans' board on Tuesday. The university president reveals the results of his two-day visit to Jordan in the Arab universities meetings. He stresses that best services should be provided to the foreign stduents in addition to communicating with them in their countries to increase the number of the foreign students who study in the university. The scientific research fund board, headed by prof.Dr. Hesham Abu el-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research, approves in its last meeting to provide fund for (56) research groups and the young researchers by an amount of 5.6 million L.E. prof.Dr. Hesham Abu el-Enin stresses that the board customizes 100,000 L.E. for the young researchers. The statement concurs with the vice president of post-graduate studies and research's meeting with the young researcher in Benha University. He also asserts that the funded research projects should have a positive impact on the university. This meeting was attended by prof.Dr. Maher Hasb-EL-Nabi, the university president chancellor of scientific research and prof.Dr. Alaa Amin, the general manager of projects administration and prof.Dr. Naser El-Gizawy, the faculty of agriculture's deputy of post-graduate studies and research

In the frame of cooperation between the Academy of scientific research and technology and Benha University and the state's endeavor to develop the scientific research in Egypt in addition to enhancing the policies of science and technology, the Academy of scientific research and technology forms the committee of the Egyptian science, technology and innovation observatory officials. Prof.Dr. Ahmed Atia and prof.Dr. Islam El- Sharawy were chosen to represent Benha University.
Benha University participates in the scientific international forum about Green Buildings and sustaining energy which was organized by the Arab Union of sustaining development and environment in the Arab League. The forum was held in the presence of prof.Dr. Mahmoud EL-Magraby, the dean of the faculty of agriculture, ambassador/ Nada EL-Egeziy, the manager of the sustaining development at the Arab League and several ambassadors and scientists from different Egyptian and Arab universities.

Prof. Dr.El Sayed El Kady, the President of Benha University has approved to establish a unit to market scientific research and link it with our community. He pointed that; this Unit will include branches at all faculties. He also mentioned that, the new Unit will reduce the burden on the general budget in addition to supporting the national industry projects and developing it.

Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the president of Benha University invited a class delegation of Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU), China from April 3 to April 7, 2016 to visit Benha University. The target of this visit is to strengthen the relationship between both sides and sign a new agreement for student exchange. The largest-ever delegation was led by President Deng Xiuxin and consists of six distinguished leaders from HZAU. The BU leaders discussed the cooperation with HZAU delegates in different areas such as education collaboration on encouraging talented international students, cultural exchanges, facilitating young faculty member's academic visits and recruitment talented postdoc from BU. This visit comes in a frame of the new Chinese strategy of «One Belt and one Road Initiative».
