The General Administration of Youth Welfare at Benha University has organized the Holy Quran competition for students under auspices of Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President, Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students` Affairs and Dr. Khalid Esawy, the general coordinator for students affairs.

Benha University launches the 1st competition for students' projects under auspices of DrAlaa Abd El Halim, El Qalyoubia's Governor, Dr Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President and Prof.Dr Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs. The competition was launched at the great hall of ceremonies in presence of faculties' deans, professors and students. The competition aims to support innovation and students' inventions and projects to serve our country and community.
Benha University won first place and gold medal in the "Scientific Miracles in the Holy Quran and Sunnah" competition, which was held at South Valley University from March 30 to April 3, and was attended by student delegations from 13 Egyptian universities. Dr. Musabih Al-Kahili, Director General of Youth Welfare, said that the university participated with a delegation of students in the competition. The student, Zainab Mahmoud Shams, in the Faculty of Medicine in Banha received the gold medal and the first center in memorizing the Holy Quran. The student Mohammed Hossein Sadiq, a student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, won the silver medal and second place in the liturgy.

L'équipe de l'Université de Benha participant à la compétition mondiale de robotique actuellement détenu en Chine, qui comprend 44 équipes de différentes universités du monde entier, a réussi pour passer la phase finale de la compétition pour les derniers matches de la compétition. The general administration of youth care organizes the university's competition of athletics among the students which includes running for 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500 meters, long jumping and the Javelin. Mr. Ibrahim Abd EL-Allah, the head of the general administration of sport activities in the university says that the faculty of physical education wins the first place, the faculty of education wins the second place and the faculty of science wins the third place.
The students of Benha University get ten medals at the competition of the Egyptian universities in Alexandria. This competition was from Monday to Thursday and it was organized by the ministry of youth and sport and there were 22 Egyptian universities who participated in this contest. Prof.Dr. Moshbeh El-kehily, the general manager of the youth care at the university said that the students get five golden medals, three bronze medals and two silver medals in the athletic games and table tennis. Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president asserts that students should practice sport and the university totally supports the handicapped as they are role models for the students.
Two teams from Faculty of Engineering (at Shoubra) were qualified for participation in the ACM Arab Collegiate Programming Contest in Sharm-ElShiekh on Sunday, 13-11-2016. One of the two teams (out of 111 teams from different Arab universities) is qualified for participation in the 41st ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (and competing with 128 teams from top universities around the world) in May 2017 in «Rapid City», U.S.A.
The ICPC traces its roots to a competition held at Texas A&M University in 1970 hosted by the Alpha Chapter of the Upsilon Pi Epsilon Computer Science Honor Society (UPE). This initial programming competition was titled First Annual Texas Collegiate Programming Championship and each University was represented by a team of up to 5 members.
