Benha University has organized the closing ceremony for the Summer School for Space Science in its Second Edition by Cooperation with Egyptian Space Agency. The Ceremony was held under auspices of Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President and Dr.Mohamed El Qosy, the Executive manager for Egyptian Space Agency. Benha University got several medals at the 1st competition of the African Universities Youth Week which was held in the period from 19 to 25 of October 2019. Prof.Dr. Mahmoud Eraqi, the dean of the faculty of agriculture in Moshtohor says that the agricultural round starts from 5-2-2017 to 8-2-2017 and there are 750 students who participate in the event. This contest is held in Aswan on Monday, 30-1-2017 and there are 135 players who participate in the contest around the Egyptian universities. Benha University is honored to invite the faculties’ members, researchers and students to attend that training course on how to access the information available in the Egyptian Knowledge Bank. This workshop will be held in cooperation with the digital library unit in the supreme council of the universities, the publishers, the companies which are participating in the Egyptian Knowledge Bank from 19-1-2017 to 20-1-2017 at the conferences hall in the faculty of commerce.
Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president launches the first initiative of E-Learning in cooperation with the faculty of engineering and the faculty of computer and informatics. The university president asserts that this is the first initiative to turn the curriculums of the faculties to Electronic- curriculums. Prof.Dr. Hazem Eliwa, the member of the international relationship office of Benha University asserts that the university delegation visited five Chinese universities to sign mutual protocols and attend the conference of the Egyptian/ Chinese relationship in the agricultural universities in Wuhan. Prof.Dr. Hussein Ibrahim, the Egyptian cultural chancellor in China received Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, prof.Dr. Muhammad Abu Salim, the dean of the faculty of veterinary medicine, prof.Dr. Mahmoud Magraghbi, the dean of the faculty of agriculture, prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the acting dean of the faculty of applied arts and prof.Dr. Osama Ezat, the deputy of educational affairs at the faculty of engineering in Shubra. The university president says that prof.Dr. Ashraf El-Shihy, the minister of higher education and prof.Dr. Hassam El-Milahy, the minister's first assistant of the cultural relationship and scholarships says that the minister pays a great attention to this visit as it will have an enormous impact on Benha University.

In his word at the forum, the president of Benha University refers to how deep is the relationship between Egypt and China and the bilateral relationship is cemented when the president of the Arab Republic of Egypt/ Abd-EL-Fattah EL-Sisi visits China and the president of China/ Shi Jean visits Egypt. The president of Benha University presides at the session of the great scientist / Jan Shian who talks about his agricultural researches and the presidents of Benha university and central normal university inaugurate the office of the international relationship between both countries in China and there will be another office to be inaugurated in Egypt to answer the calls of the Egyptians in China. The students of Benha University get ten medals at the competition of the Egyptian universities in Alexandria. This competition was from Monday to Thursday and it was organized by the ministry of youth and sport and there were 22 Egyptian universities who participated in this contest. Prof.Dr. Moshbeh El-kehily, the general manager of the youth care at the university said that the students get five golden medals, three bronze medals and two silver medals in the athletic games and table tennis. Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president asserts that students should practice sport and the university totally supports the handicapped as they are role models for the students.

Benha University participates in the scientific international forum about Green Buildings and sustaining energy which was organized by the Arab Union of sustaining development and environment in the Arab League. The forum was held in the presence of prof.Dr. Mahmoud EL-Magraby, the dean of the faculty of agriculture, ambassador/ Nada EL-Egeziy, the manager of the sustaining development at the Arab League and several ambassadors and scientists from different Egyptian and Arab universities.
Benha University mourned with grief the death of the Egyptian Nobel Laureate Ahmed Zewail. Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the Acting President of Benha University stated that the entire world is grieved over losing one of the hard-working pioneering scientists who left the humanity a huge heritage of scientific discovers and researches.
