Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the Acting President of Benah University congratulated Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research after granting him The Honorary Doctorate from East London University as appreciation for his scientific history, wishing for him continued progress and success in serving Egypt.
The supreme council of universities holds its regular meeting under the presidency of prof.Dr. Khalid Abd EL-Gaffar, the minister of higher education, on Saturday, in at Benha University's premise in El-Obour city. The meeting is done in the presence of prof.Dr. Mohamed Latif, the meeting secretary and the meeting members.

Under the auspices of Prof. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President; the University participated in the Virtual Forum for Higher Education between China, France, and Africa which organized by the Chinese Wuhan University in the duration from 29 to 30 October 2020 under the title of " Higher education under the impact of the Corona epidemic". The forum included two main topics, namely the development of teaching methods in higher education and the possibility of using international relations between educational institutions in training their employees. The official language of the conference was French.
Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with collaboration of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank "EKB" announced the launching of the Interdisciplinary Research Excellence Programme, which is a comprehensive capacity-building training programme to strengthen interdisciplinary research in Egyptian universities and to advance research integration and implementation in society to address complex real-world problems in Egypt, including achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. The University president Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady decides to cease paying all different financial bonuses in the university. He also decides to cease paying the bonuses that the regulations of the ministry of the finance and the ministry of higher education haven't set forth yet. He stresses that the bonuses will be restructured to achieve objectivity, transparency and social justice.
The E-portal presented a draft law of sciences, technology and creativity which was made by the ministry of higher education. This draft law aims at the develop the scientific research which is based on creativity and innovation in the universities and research centers of the ministry of higher education.

Prof. Dr. El Sayed Yusuf El Kady, the President of Benha University received Prof. Dr. Ashraf Al-Shehhi - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research who visited Benha University in 2692016 to launch "We Love Egypt Initiative" from faculty of Arts then, they held open meeting with students to discuss several topics with them, in addition to visiting faculty of Nursing and Education to inspect the educational process.
A delegation from Benha University included Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and environment Development Affairs and Prof. Dr. El Sayed Foda, the Dean of the Faculty of Law participated in the International Exhibition on Higher Education 2016 in the Sultanate of Oman.
