The medical, veterinary and agricultural convoys in Barqatta and El Shoqr villages continue their work for the second day in succession. The convoys are under auspices of Dr. Hala Zayed, minister of Health, Dr. Khalid Abd El Ghaffar, minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Major General Abdel Hamid El Hagan, Qalyoubia Governor and Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University.
The Community Services and Environment Affairs Board was held under presidency of Dr. Gamal Sousse, the General Supervisor on Community Service Sector, in presence of the board's members and the faculties' deputies. During the meeting, the Board discussed the mechanism of Benha University's participation in the presidential initiative "A Decent Life for developing villages" which includes Shebin El Qanater village. Benha University is going to participate at the initiative by coordinating with the coordinator of the initiative in Qalyoubia Governorate and the governorate general secretary. Dr.Gamal Soussa said that the national project for developing most of Egyptian rural villages is one of the most important initiatives that launched by the political leadership which aimed at improving standard of living at Egyptian villages.
The medical, veterinary and agricultural convoys in Kafr Al-Arab village continue their work for the second day in succession. The convoys are under auspices of Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Khalid Abd El Ghaffar, minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Major General Abdel Hamid El Hagan, Qalyoubia Governor and Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President.
Under the patronage of Dr. Gamal El-Said, the President of the University organized community convoys in the villages of Sidi Abdulla and Qarnoub in the city of Qaha in the framework of the role of the university to serve the local community and the neediest villages. The convoys included professors, faculty members, administrators and students from 8 faculties' Veterinary medicine, nursing, education, agriculture, trade, sports education and science
The sector of community service and environment development organizes, under the auspices of prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-kady, the University president and prof.Dr. Gamal Ismail, the vice president of community service and environment development, a veterinary convoy in the village of koom El- Atron. Prof.Dr. Muhammad Ghanem, the dean of the faculty of veterinary medicine says that prof.Dr. Yasser Foaud, the faculty's deputy of community service and environment development, the faculty's members, the veterinary medicine doctors in the faculty and the heads of the veterinary medicine administration in Qulubia participate in Qulubia.
The comprehensive convoy which is organized by Benha University has ended its activities at Tahla village in Qulubia. The convoy cures 1200 students in the preparatory school in the village of Tahla in addition to curing 700 inhabitants from the villagers and provide them the medicine needed. The convoy also conducts a check analysis of virus C and other diseases and it transfers the patients to the university hospitals in Benha University.
The leaders' council, headed by prof.Dr. EL-Syed El-Kady, the university president approves on the bulletin of the faculty of science council regarding 1.6 tons of cleaners which will be donated for the comprehensive convoy. This convoy will be sent to “Arab- El-Atiat” village in Assiout and it lasts from Friday 17-2-2017 to Sunday, 19-2-2017. This convoy is in the frame of the initiatives of prof.Dr. EL-Syed El-Kady, the university president to serve the community. The convoy is organized in cooperation with Mr. Yasser Desoky, the Governor of Assiout and prof.Dr. Ahmed abdo, the president of Assiout University.
According to the instructions of the president / Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi to take care of the middle-class and release the burden over the shoulder of the inhabitants of the needy villages and as per the university's role in serving the community, the university council, headed by Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president, answers the call of an episode of the program “Mohema Khasa” hosted by the anchor/ Ahemd Ragab on “El-Haiya” channel which takes care of the inhabitants of the village of “Arab- El-Ayat” in Assiout. Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president says that the university has approved to send a comprehensive convoy included all the specializations; the medical, the veterinary, the agricultural, the geometrical, and the environmental. This convoy will be equipped in cooperation with the faculties of the university, the ministry of higher education and the University of Assiout and it will be sent to this needy village in next February.
Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the acting president of the university, announced that university sent a medical, veterinary and agricultural convoys to the villages of Qualibia governorate such as el-Gabal el-Asfur village, Mit kenana village and Banamol village. The acting president says that these convoys were sent in association with Qualibia Governorate to provide a medical, veterinary and agricultural and educating services to the inhabitants of these villages. These convoys started on Monday, 29-8-2016 and it continued for three days . These convoys will be sent to el-Khosos village, Mit el-sebaa village and Marsafa village in the next month.
