According to Webometrics rankings in January 2018, Benha University has obtained 6th position in the ranking of the Egyptian universities; it also obtained the 20th position in the ranking of the Arab Universities, it obtains the 27th position in the ranking of the African universities and it obtains the 1802 position in the international ranking.

The faculty of medicine's council holds a meeting under the presidency of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-kady, the university president, prof.Dr. Mahmoud Abd El-Sabour, the faculty's dean, the deputies, the heads of the departments and the general manager of the university hospital. EL-kady opens the session by greeting the faculties' members, the teaching assistants, the employees and the students and congratulates them on the occasion of the prophet's birth in addition to urging all those who work in the university to work hard and enhance the university's ranking. The British Company “Quacquarelli Symonds” (QS) has announced its ranking of 2016 on Tuesday, 14/06/2016 and even though the strong competition this year between more than 300Arab Universities (public and private), Benha University has kept its rank between top 100 of the best Arab Universities according to QS ranking for the Arab region 2016.
