Prof.Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that the Times Higher Education (THE) classification for higher education institutions has revealed the results of its special edition for the ranking of Arab universities for 2026. Benha University was ranked 93rd among 268 universities and educational institutions in 18 Arab countries included in this release. Locally, the University ranked 15th among 51 Egyptian universities included in this edition.
Prof.Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that the Board of Directors of the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation has accredited 11 academic programs across the university's faculties.El-Gizawy stated that the accredited programs are: the Program for Sculpture, Architectural Formation, and Restoration; and the Program for Architectural Products and Jewelry at the Faculty of Applied Arts. Also accredited were the Bachelor of Science and Education program (General Mathematics) and the Bachelor of Science and Education program (Physics) at the Faculty of Education.

Prof.Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that the team from the Faculty of Engineering at Shubra has won first place in the Arab Biotech Innovation Competition 2025. From January to September 2025, Benha University's Unified Government Complaints System received 4,705 complaints, requests, and appeals (3,870 individual complaints and 835 university-related complaints). 97.93% of these were reviewed and processed according to complaint investigation protocols before being forwarded to relevant authorities for resolution.

Nineteen scientific journals issued by the university and its faculties were evaluated.
